Qualifications And Experience
After graduating with summa cum laude from the prestigious University of Pisa, completing training in general paediatrics as well as completing her Masters in neonatal intensive care, Silvia has dedicated her professional career to ensuring all her patients achieve the best outcome for their health and wellbeing. While initially training and working in various Italian hospitals and clinics for 11 years, she has also worked in the UK for the last nine years as an NHS consultant. Her experience in the demanding fields of paediatric A&E and the challenging environment of NHS hospitals has given her the expert skills and experience to help patients and their families. Silvia has also qualified and trained as a GP in Italy.
Silvia offers prompt access to expert medical care for children from birth to 18 years and is a registered consultant with all leading insurance companies. While a clinical environment is best suited to assessing and treating your child, she will undertake home visits to infants who have just been born or if your child is too ill to travel.
