Tracy is an experienced Psychologist and Coach with over 10 years clinical and management experience in both the NHS and private sectors. She is the Founder of Positive Therapy, as well as a practising Psychotherapist for The Priory. She is Accredited in both CBT and ACT Psychotherapy and is able to draw upon a broad range of knowledge to help clients build awareness and develop skills to manage a range of emotional difficulties.

Primarily a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist, (CBT), accredited by the BABCP, Tracy is also trained in using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and Gestalt Therapy. Her orientation is to help clients develop a different perspective and way of relating to their difficulties and inner emotions. She approaches this with compassionate listening and a focus on coaching clients to find meaning in their life through an emphasis on identifying their strengths, building resilience, connecting with their values and setting meaningful and fulfilling goals in order to bring about balance to the clients life and experiences. She has a very dynamic and unique approach to working with clients.
As a psychologist Tracy has a special interest in executive and management coaching. She has conducted research into the effectiveness of coaching and is one of few coaches in the country to use and tailor Acceptance and Commitment Training, an evidenced based psychology model grounded in behavioural science. Tracy prides herself in evidence based practice and uses this to help clients become more emotionally aware and intelligent.
